Explore the arctic and look for sea eagles by boat.
The archipalgo of Sommarøy hoasts a large colony of sea eagles year round.
On this guided tour we take you out in our well suited and heated boat and search the islands and cliffs for this magestic bird. You will also get to explore the wild exposed coast of Sommarøy from the seaside.
Throwing a fish at sea will attract their razor sharp vision and will sometimes swope in close by to benefit of a free tossed meal.
With a wingspan ranging up over two meters, viewing this bird up close is a majestic and unforgettable sight.
The trip is conducted year round. In the summer we have fixed departues with a start at 11am on Tuesdays and Fridays at from our activity centre. On request the rest of the year.
